Do any of you know where I can get free legal advice on the web?

This is the one I use. You can post your question and attorneys will answer if it is their area of expertise. Just like any forum though you may get one or more answers or none it just depends but it has proven useful to me in the past.

There is a ton 'o free legal information on the web. Just google ';[your state] [area of law].'; Many, many law office websites offer articles on numerous areas of law. Most states have their state codes (laws) and recent cases online.

If you need personalized advice, that is what attorneys are for. It is unethical for an attorney to get involved with anyone without checking for conflicts--thus the need for a consultation.Do any of you know where I can get free legal advice on the web?

But, remember: You get what you pay for. Any advise from a ';free'; site is as good as the money you paid for the advise.

You want good, solid legal advise? Pay a lawyer for it. Some will give basic advise for free, but getting into specifics will cost you.
