You register the baby and put the birth fathers name on the certificate of birth.Your legal husband has no responsibility for this child although if you still speak I would advise that you tell him.You should also get a divorce because there is no point in continuing with you marriage.Good Luck.You dont need to get a divorce to register the reall fathers name
As long as you are married the new baby is considered by law to be the father of the child. If you are pregnant you need to get a divorce so that the father can put his name of the child's birth certificate.
