Legal Advice - A guitar store that was selling some equipment for me has closed down, what can I do?

I went to a local guitar store with a Peavey 5150 amp and peavey cab because I was trying to sell them. The store owner said they would sell them for me If I wanted, but they would get a small percentage. I agreed and left the equipment with them. A month or so ago I phoned them as it had been a while and I hadn't heard anything, they said the equipment was still there, If I wanted I could pick it up or they would continue to try and sell it for me. Recently I found a buyer myself, but when I tried to phone the store again I got no answer. And upon visiting the store I've found that it has closed down. I've now lost 拢700 worth of equipment and would like to know if their is anything I can do about it.Legal Advice - A guitar store that was selling some equipment for me has closed down, what can I do?
Your only option is to hire an attorney to sue the socks off of those slimey thieves.Legal Advice - A guitar store that was selling some equipment for me has closed down, what can I do?
Where is that equipment located now?

You need to get it before it is included in an inventory of property belonging to the owner of the store.

That equipment is yours, not equipment that can be sold to satisfy creditors.

However it could mistakenly be included in an inventory of equipment owned that can be used to satisfy claims of creditors.

Do you know the name of the owner? Just a thought, he may only have been renting the building. So write down the address, and go to the city tax collectors office and see if they can give you the name of the owner of the store OR the owner of the building. You might find out where this guy lives. One other thing, does the store have any windows? If so, see if there is anything inside. Good luck!
you can sue the owners civilly. get an attorney
