I am planning on leaving my gf of two years?


all i want is my tv, ps3, fish tank and clothes. if she comes home and i and these things are gone can i get in trouble?Please give me some legal advice?
If they are yours and you paid for them, no. But, depending on the state, you may be married through common law, and then it gets tricky. But with possession you're on higher legal ground than without.





Not much she can do, except take you to civil court, and without receipts it's anybody's guess.

Even if you didn't buy them, No. But she could sue you in small claims court.





It would be a good idea to have all of your receipts and paperwork just in case.
