Legal advice on filing complaints on food products.?

I have recently purchased a food product, packaged in vacuumed/sealed pack. Before opening the package, I realized that there is a dead bug inside. It's so shocking as this is not the first time I bought an item from this company, but this makes me wonder much about their QA process. How should I go about reaching the company in regards to this matter? Do I have grounds for any monetary compensation? Thanks!Legal advice on filing complaints on food products.?
No, you won't get any monetary compensation because you suffered no damages. You can return the package to the store and get your money back.

You should file a complaint with your local health department and let them take care of the rest.
