Need legal advice about landlord and room mates?

I have a friend who rents a room in a house. She's an older female and has multiple sclerosis. She shares a house with two men in their 30's. In the past couple weeks, they have been threatening and doing things to aggrivate her, like breaking her eggs in the fridge, taking her lightbulbs out in her bathroom, and turning off the a/c and turning the heat up to 92 degrees when they leave for work. My friend found a new place to live, but can't move in for a couple of days. She reported her situation to her landlord many times and the landlord has not done anything. It got to the point where she had to call the police because one of them came home drunk and threatened to kill her. Does she have the right to sue the landlord and her room mates, even if she didn't sign a lease?Need legal advice about landlord and room mates?
Landlord no, roommates yes. She should talk to a lawyer.Need legal advice about landlord and room mates?
tell ur landlord u'll strip him of his infidelity if he keeps annoying u.. sorry didn't have enough patience to read the whole thing but in any case that should work..
She can't sue the landlord...he isn't responsible for roommate disagreements.

She has not been legally harmed. The police wouldn't even arrest someone for what has happened so far...and if she REALLY was in fear of her life...she would have left immediately and not worried about the two days.
tell her to put x-lax in their food %26amp; pee in their beer.
If she lives in the USA, anyone can sue anyone for any reason! And they do!
I don't know about suing, but since they did threaten her, she can file for a restraining order, meaning that they will have to stay at least 100 feet (or yards, can't remeber) away from her. And that would force them to have to move cuz they cannot be in the same house with her.

Good luck!
Additionally, as she has MS, she'll really have to do some soul searching and ask herself if a lawsuit (which can become a fulltime job of its own...) is really worth the hassle. I doubt it will be from a time, peace of mind, money, mental health standpoint. Also, if these lunkheads are renting to, or having to rent out a room in their house to make ends meet, this tells me they have very little money (or brains either, to say nothing of class.). Chalk it up to a bad experience. Not worth it. Move out and move on.
This is a sad situation and if she is moving in a couple of days it will be all over. She couldn't do anything to the Landlord, but she could get the guys arrested...Then you are looking for more trouble..

I would just move and be done with it. It is sad that there are people out there that still act that way..

I am sorry for your friend and good luck

Anyone can sue anyone else here in the US, the QUESTION is, will she win?

The landlord has no control over these people's actions, so I seriously doubt she'd be successful suing the landlord.

And if she hasn't filed police reports against the other two, it's going to be her word against theirs. So what's she suing for? You can't just go in and ask for $10,000 because they're mean - you have to PROVE it was them, PROVE which one did what, and PROVE that they caused her damage. Good luck on that.

My guess is, a lawyer is going to cost much more than she's ever going to get.
