I need some legal advice about my job?

I was at work and I had a near fainting spell. my employer told me she was going to call the paramedics to come and just check my vitals. They came and took me to the hospital after I told them I didn't want to go now I have a huge bill, and I don't have a job. Is my employer liable for any of my bills?I need some legal advice about my job?
Paramedics are not allowed to take you anywhere against your will. You obviously agreed to it at some point--I need some legal advice about my job?
I would call the local dept of labor and legal aid society to get info - get info from both sources. Also, check with your employers HR dept - they should be able to give you something in writing regarding their medical provisions which you can give to legal aid to look at
Double check what happened because maybe you are not remembering it correctly since you were faint. We all have the right to refuse medical treatment, and ambulance drivers are trained to respect that. Technically, if they take someone of sound mind who has refused treatment, they can be charged with kidnapping.

Your employer is not liable for your bills, but they may be held accountable if they fired you for that incident.
